BakeX provides an online platform that enables independent bakers to create storefronts and receive order enquiries from customers.

2. Platform Role

BakeX is a software platform that allows independent bakers to showcase their products and receive order requests from customers.

BakeX does not manufacture, sell, deliver, or supply any baked goods.

Any agreement regarding the purchase of goods is solely between the customer and the baker.

BakeX is not a party to these transactions.

3. No Payment Processing

BakeX does not process payments.

Any payments, deposits, or financial arrangements are handled directly between the customer and the baker.

BakeX is not responsible for:

  • payment processing
  • deposits
  • refunds
  • financial disputes

4. Baker Responsibilities

Bakers using BakeX are solely responsible for:

  • food safety compliance
  • product quality
  • accurate product descriptions
  • order fulfilment
  • delivery arrangements
  • refunds and complaints

BakeX does not verify or guarantee the safety or legality of products offered by bakers.

5. Customer Responsibility

Customers acknowledge that:

  • BakeX only provides the platform technology
  • order requests are sent directly to the baker
  • BakeX does not guarantee product availability, delivery, or quality

Any dispute regarding an order must be resolved directly with the baker.

6. Acceptable Use

Users must not use BakeX to:

  • conduct illegal activities
  • upload malicious or harmful content
  • impersonate others
  • disrupt or attempt to compromise the platform

BakeX may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

7. Platform Availability

BakeX may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time without notice.

Some features may be experimental as the platform evolves.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BakeX is not liable for:

  • food safety issues
  • product quality
  • delivery failures
  • disputes between bakers and customers
  • financial losses related to orders

9. Third-Party Services

BakeX uses third-party services to operate the platform, including:

  • Mailgun — email delivery
  • Google Analytics — website analytics
  • DigitalOcean — infrastructure hosting

These services may process data necessary to provide their functionality.
